1. 0-3 years’ Experience in Cobol development on UNIX and or Mainframe platform
2. Experience in Linux / Unix / Mainframe (Zos / MVS / OS380) environment, basic system Commands (UNIX / TSOE) & VSAM.
3. Experience in working with RDBMS (Oracle / Sybase / DB2 / UDB) and working with complex SQL Queries.
4. Some familiarity with Java will be a big plus.
5. Familiarity with code management tools (GIT, Synergy, etc.) is desirable.
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to both legacy and new age technologies, to solve problems and take the product in new directions.
7. Ability to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines.
8. Previous card payments experience and knowledge to our networks such as VISA, Mastercard, Discover etc.
1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions that power our payment products. Write well-structured code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of software engineering principles, payment processing, and security protocols to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to complex technical challenges.
3. Feature Enhancement: Collaborate closely with product owners and managers to translate product requirements into technical designs and implementations. Enhance existing features and contribute to the development of new ones.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery timelines. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
