Associate DevOps Engineer

Bachelor's/Masters's Level Degree
3 Years EXP
1. Strong knowledge of source repository administration with tools like GIT-Hub, RTC and Azure Devops
2. Strong knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes and should have worked with Helm and Istio
3. Should have worked on microservice based architecture
4. Strong scripting language experience in one or more - Perl, shell, command script, python groovy
5. Experience of Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson for pipeline management
6. Experience with Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and Cloud (on-premises/Azure/AWS) technologies
7. Strong experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
8. Experience with Software Application packaging like InstallShield, RPM
9. Working experience with containers and container orchestration
10. Working knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
1. Automate builds, and develop and integrate new tools to support CI/CD (continuous integration/delivery) and reporting across projects in various environments like on-premises cloud, Azure Terraform and AWS
2. Develop and maintain well architected build scripts and integrate new tools/plugins to support CI/CD (using Jenkins)
3. Collaborate with software development to improve build pipeline
4. Support source code management tools like RTC/GIT/GIT-Hub for a team of 30+ software developers
Support deployment activities using containers (Docker), RPM and/or full desktop install through InstallShield
5. Monitor and support daily Builds and timely release of Hotfix packages
6. Manage build environment through configuration management tool/system
