This role will be aligned to Multicloud or Digital Workplace Services or Integrated Smart Operations or IT practice based on candidate’s credentials.Job description for Analyst Trainee aligned to IT & Integrated Smart Operations:Location:Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai and Kochi. Candidate must be flexible to relocate to any Cognizant work locations as per the business requirement and demand.Job description:You will be responsible for performing database queries, CRUD operations, and writing stored procedures. You will prepare and execute tests, analyse and resolve service tickets, and demonstrate proficiency in IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools, with a strong drive for innovation.Key responsibilities:Understand relationships between tables and write queries to retrieve data from the database. Perform CRUD operations and write stored procedures based on a given Low-Level Design. Prepare test cases, scripts, and data, and execute both manual and automated tests. Analyze root causes and fix service tickets according to standard operating procedures. Demonstrate proficiency in tools related to IT Service Management and Data Analytics. Possess a strong drive to innovate and experiment in projects. Skills required:Good time management skills Good written & verbal communication skills Teamwork & collaboration Problem solving skills Strong analytical skills Critical thinking Eligibility criteria:Students who graduated in 2023 or 2024 with a three-year full-time degree (BCA, BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics, or allied streams) are invited to apply. Candidates must have a consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, and UG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed). At the time of joining, recruits must have a minimum 60% aggregate in their current degree with no standing arrears. Students who have applied for re-evaluation and are awaiting results will be validated based on the initially declared scores. Appropriate CGPA to percentage conversion will be considered as per university norms. Students with standing arrears are NOT eligible to apply. Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in any given shift timing and technology is mandatory. Open to Indian nationals / OCIs currently residing in India.
Key responsibilities:Perform activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs/Runbooks with an understanding of business impact. Adhere to customer security and compliance requirements. Follow customer communication etiquettes. Ensure stated productivity requirements for the engagement. Contribute to continuous service improvement plans (CSI). Participate proactively in knowledge-sharing sessions. Act as a buddy for new hires. Adhere to organizational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines, etc.). Role expectations:Associate should be client-focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe. Associate should be willing to work in a 24/7 environment and be open to relocating to any part of India based on project requirements. Support available from Cognizant (post joining as Full Time Employee):Night shift allowance will be paid by the project. Cabs will be provided for pick-up and drop-off, ensuring safety and comfort.
