We are looking to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer to help develop our third party ingest pipelines to build the best in class Next-Gen SIEM. You will be a part of the Platform group and help build the systems that control ingestion for third party data at petabyte scale. You will interact with product managers and other engineers in building both internal and external facing services.You will be responsible for building fault tolerant, high scalable cloud systems using Golang.What You’ll Do:Build the services that control third party ingest pipelines processing petabytes of data.Research, brainstorm, communicate and build collaboratively with members across multiple teamsUnderstand our products to improve architecture, user experience, performance and stabilityWork with industry-leading technologies like Golang, Kafka, Postgres, Grafana and k8s.Work on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projectsHave autonomy to own your work in a high trust environmentTroubleshoot and debug critical production issuesWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience9+ years of relevant work experienceGolang/Java/Python experience with strong debugging skillsHands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimizationExperience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)Experience with NoSQL and Relational DB’sExperience in building data platforms at scaleExperience working in Linux
