Myntra’s engineering team builds the technology platform that empowers our customers’ shopping experience and enables the smooth flow of products from suppliers to our customers’ doorsteps. We work on areas such as building massive- scale web-applications, engaging user[1]interfaces, big-data analytics, mobile apps, workflow systems, inventory-management etc. We are a small technology team where each individual has a huge impact. Any Degree
1-3 years
1. Some understanding of Statistics and prior experience of building statistical models (e.g. hypothesis testing, product experimentation, A/B Testing, regressions).
2. Excellent knowledge SQL and expert knowledge of data manipulation language such as Python
3. Previous experience with working on ecommerce funnels, retention
4. Applied knowledge of most used techniques as well as many new / upcoming / niche analytics techniques
5. Ability to think through product and business metrics to assess product features
6. Knowledge of business modelling and basic knowledge of financial metrics, would be a bonus
7. Quick learner and ability to work in dynamic work environment
8. Team player and comfortable interacting with people from multiple disciplines
9. Established expertise in designing new dashboards, identifying the right metrics, layout; displays proficiency in building dashboards on UDP and Power BI using best practices and intuitive
10. B Tech/BE in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
1. Displays structured problem solving, application of right tools & techniques to solve open ended problems, Creates productized analytics solutions or frameworks independently.
2. Understand Business & product problems and come up with deep data backed solutions.
3. Root cause analysis and Deep dive analysis of certain product problems
4. Running and maintaining the reporting system, presenting insights at a weekly forum
5. Building templates, dashboards in Excel or on the intranet for operational and management reporting
6. Data extraction as per business team request for Ad hoc analysis
7. Business analysis and understanding
You will also learn a lot of the business, as this team is also responsible for calculating all the key business metrics for each team.
