At Uber we believe that ‘Great minds don’t think alike’ and that's why the University TA team conducts She++ events every year in the month of March to support our commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry. She++ is an initiative that provides an opportunity for early-in-career diverse talent to network with Uber representatives - business leaders, alumni, HR professionals - and thereby get a glimpse into what a fulfilling career in technology looks like. Launched in 2019, Uber conducts an event to tap into this talent every March.

UberSTAR is designed to provide early-in-career engineering internship opportunities for populations traditionally underrepresented in the technology industry. The purpose is to convert our UberSTARs into our engineering internship program and ultimately to full time Uber engineers. The participants of She++ go through a selection process of a coding assessment followed by interview rounds, to select interns for the UberSTAR program. Following their UberStar internship, they undergo the same evaluation process as any regular internship, and finally, based on their manager’s recommendation,they are invited back for an engineering internship the following year.
1. You are eligible to apply if you are graduating in the year 2027.
2. Please use your official (college) email address to register, the same should be used to appear for the test.
3. By submitting this form, you are declaring that you are currently in your second year of engineering, and interested to participate at the She++ networking event being hosted by Uber India.
4. All applicants would be invited to participate in an online screening test (watch out for an email with further guidelines). Upon successfully clearing this test, you would be sent a follow-up email with the next steps.
