The duration of the internship program will be 1 year.In this role, you will work with cross functional teams ranging from Information Technology, Engineering Tools (software configuration management), development and solutions test staff supporting PON, Ethernet switching and routing software, subscriber management for Triple Play services, performance monitoring to network management to build, integrate, unit test and support software modules within a large-scale system. Responsibilities and Duties:Participate in technical discussions within the engineering group, focusing on system administration, automation, and reliability. Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable systems. Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues. Create and maintain technical documentation for system administration and automation processes. Support the development and testing of automated scripts for system administration tasks. Qualifications:Strong knowledge of:Linux Operating System (Ubuntu/Red Hat/CentOS) Server administration (Windows Server/Linux) Automation tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet) Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) Virtualization (VMware vSphere) Monitoring tools and concepts (SolarWinds, Prometheus, BigPanda) Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Cyber security, Information Technology, or Artificial Intelligence – Graduating Class of 2024/2025 Nice to Have:Experience with containerization tools (Docker) Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) IT Networking skills:Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Understanding of network architecture and design Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
